Hello Pineapples families and other visitors, It is hard to believe we are already through the first month of school. We have been learning a lot about routines, expectations, playing with our friends, and ways to communicate. We are seeing some amazing things happening! Friends are talking to each other, engaging in play, touching pictures or signing to communicate, and answering questions while following our classroom routine. We are so so so excited to see these things in the first month of school! We have been reading Pete the Cat books this past month and the students have really enjoyed listening to his books and talking about the things we saw and read about. We have made art related to the books and played with Pete characters during center time. We will be moving on to our Farm study next, in preparation for the trip to Willow Oak Farms at the end of the month. We hope you all will be able to join us for this fun experience! Please remember to send in family pictures to
Hello friends! We have had such an exciting month at Frankie Lemmon! We learned about farm animals and celebrated Halloween. We worked on letters, numbers, playing with friends, and handling transitions within our routine. We also started specials! The kids in the Pineapples class have been enjoying Music Therapy, Movement class, Language Group with Ms. Robin, Fine Motor group with Ms. Jen and Ms. Dawn, Social Skills group with Ms. Cynthia, and picking out books in Library with Ms. Caroline and Ms. Sara! Its been a busy month! Everyone is making such great progress and we are so excited to see where we go this year! Have a wonderful day! Ms. Jeanine, Ms. Leanne, and Ms. Sharon
Hello friends! We have had an exciting November. We went to the farm, learned about nocturnal animals and thankfulness, and even had some visitors to the classroom for thanksgiving cookie decorating. We are making friends, becoming more confident in our skills and learning more and more independence each day. We are all very settled into our routines and making great progress. We are so proud of our little Pineapples and all they have accomplished so far this year. Love, Ms. Jeanine, Ms. Sharon, and Ms. Leanne
